1937 Road Racer, NOS

This is unusual for a 37 Road Racer because it has pinstripes with no painted rear stays. I suspect it was being sold as a replacement frame. It has a Flyer style fork with forged ends instead of stamped. Still has the shop tag on it, it's seen 80 years of shop wear but still shows well. I'm looking for $400.

Sorry the pic is rotated...it's not on my 'putor. I've got better pics available.

I'll be posting more interesting parts and bikes in the next couple of weeks.

Apparently I didn't upload correctly. Lets try these. You'll notice a little oz=xidation  where the bike sat on concrete but there's nothing here that can't be touched up easily.

Hello wondering if there is any spear point fenders available ?

thanks Gt

Where is the frame, Warren?

Wolfville Nova Scotia.

gtflyte, I have another Road Racer with fenders that were painted with the frame but didn't want to separate them. Will consider it and post if they become available.

Hello Warren thanks 4 the update Greg

Frame is pending, thanks.

I bought this frame from Warren. Tag says it was sold to Warren Cycle in 1937 or later. Google Maps still shows the sign of the old shop on Queen St. East, Toronto.
