1972 CCM Turismo

The 1972 CCM Turismo from "Billy Henley Bicycle Sales and Service and Shoe Repair is complete. This manufactured in Canada 10 speed was at the height of the 70s "bike boom" and the Turismo was a big seller at around $100. Owned by my late friend David Clapp from Picton ON, it was well taken care of. His son

says his dad really "loved that bike" and would be very happy to see it restored.

It retains mostly all of its original Shimano 333 components and paint. Touch-up and compounding brought back a lot of the original brilliance to the paint and plating. New tires, chain, bearings, brake pads, cables and bar tape have been installed. When spring arrives, it will be ready for a test ride.
