It doesn't appear to be a CCM. Most likely a private label brand contract manufactured in Asia or Europe, This could be anywhere from the 1960s though the 1980s but the greatesst proliferation of private brands was duirng the early 1970s, so that's the most likely era. The rear hub should have at least a brand marking and possibly a date code. The serial number may provide a clue too. Any markings on the bottom bracket cups or other components?

Although not clearly visible, the chainguard profile looks a lot like those on some Raleigh bikes, (Raleigh Rodeoo include). Some of the Eaton Glider bikes had the same chainguards. (not the Fastback100's though).

Here's a 1970 Gider to show the chainguard mentioned above.

Perhaps your bike is of similar heritage.

Thanks for the replies. I will check for numbers on Monday. It has Canadians on the chain guard but I will look into it closer tomorrow. Again, thanks. Jack

Couldn't find a serial #. It seems the bike was pianted, maybe a few times. On the hub is excel Mark IV , I think. The chainguard is very similar to the clider.

Yes, it does appear to be a Raleigh built frame. Those are Raleigh rear dropouts. I really had to enlarge the image to see the fender eyelets on the lower rear quarter. If so, the serial number may be on the back of the top of the seat tube and it may be made by Raleigh Canada.
