CCM Flyer Parts

Looking to buy parts to complete a Flyer project. Need hubs/wheels, stem and bars, pedals. Let me know what you have.

I thought that someone (Rob Lucky?) offered you some wheels. After watching for Flyer bikes and parts for at least 25 years, I can tell you that the supply is almost nonexistant. Original wheels, hubs, or sprockets are the most difficult. The seat, seat post, and handlebar stem are not so difficult. I believe that the handlebars were made by CCM and were used only on the Flyer. Of course, if you do not care about originality, you can probably find something.

John, do you know if CCM'S Flyer handlebars were stamped CCM Flyer like their hubs? Did they have a unique curve to them or were they generic in design? Do you have one you can post a photo of from a couple of different angles?

Hi Brian,

I am sorry to take so long to respond to your questions. Yes, I do have a pair of the Flyer "Professional Racer" handlebars. They are listed in the catalogues and measure as follows; forward 4", drop 6", and width 15 1/2". I have never seen any that were marked CCM Flyer.

Thanks John, that helps greatly, with the image of the brakes too! Which year catalogue are those pages from? Are your professional racer bars available for sale? If you can sell me those for my 1923 Doc Morton, I can sell Oslerblue my CCM Flyer bars.

These pages are from a 1937 special CCM Racing Bike catalogue. It has a lot more in it than the regular catalogue. I am sorry, I can not sell the bars that I have. They are on a one of a kind ex Torchy Peden Flyer.
