Help wanted with 1936 CCM Flyte.

Hi.

I recently bought a 1936 Flyte in Vancouver BC.

Ive taken it apart to clean it up and restore mechanically.

I’m not sure if the rear hub is correct.

All it says is “PAT.No 1C6391 PATS PENDING”

The brake arm says CCM.

The center of the hub has an oiler and no markings.

The sprocket has 18 teeth.

I saw a post on this site that said I should have a Pat 1927 coaster hub.

I’m  hoping for some knowledge in this area.

Thanks,

Grant

The correct hub should be in fact, the Patent 26 Hub, where Hecules is in skript form, versus block lettering.

You should use a hercules scripted hub if your building a rear wheel up for a 36 flyte.

The  1936 Flyte  also used Endrick  Rims

Dunlop Canadian Size 28" EA Made in England PAT 182604.

The 1926 hub makes sense. I wanted to be sure the hub I got with the bike wasn’t one that was also used.

The rim surprises me though. Thank you for the info. Does anyone have hubs, rims and /or wheels for sale?
