Here it is after cleaning, regreasing bearings, new chain and seat. The steering stem is not original.

 

 

 

Hello. I recently found an old CCM in a shareshed. From the serial number I believe it was made in 1947. My plan is to fix it up. Any info about the bike is appreciated.  Thanks.

it's a lady's model and could well be from 1947 by the way it looks... unfortunately chainguard and fenders were repainted, possibly frame too. it would be a good bike with a new seat, chain, grips and headset as it doesn't seem to be complete; of course it would be better to also overhaul hubs and crank bearings.
