Interesting 1930s CCM

Good day all, have a look at this one! I looks like the suspension fork was made by a company called "Velvet Spring". I research the cie, did not find anything. 

The bike is close to Quebec city, for those interested.

Anybody know anything about the suspension?

Looks like an early 'leading link' suspension. Not original to CCM, maybe German given the Mudguard ornament.

BMW refined this technology with their motorbikes.

that is NOT a german fork, it's Canadian

it's a add on springer fork made and invented in Sabrevois, PQ, called the "Velvet Spring"  Pat Can : 448375
