  • BARTLEET'S BICYCLE BOOK by H. W. (Sammy) Bartleet.  Published by Burrow & Co. of London.  1st Edition of 1931.  Introduction by G. Lacy Hillier.  185 ppgs. 5" x 7-1/2".  Hard Cover with original Dust Jacket.  One of the first books written on Cycling History by a man who lived it.  Bartleet's collection formed the basis to the Coventry Transport's cycling collection.  IMPORTANT.  Contents are Fine. Dust Jacket is faulted.  $ SOLD 
  • BIKES & TRIKES of Long Ago by John Duncan.  Published in 1975 by American Review.  5-1/2" x 8-1/4".  Soft Cover.  Approx 36 ppgs.  Interesting compilation of historic information.   Ex Burgwardt Bicycle Museum Library.  Slight soil to cover otherwise near Mint. $ SOLD
  • BUFFALO BICYCLES by Carl F. Burgwardt. Soft Cover.  8-1/2" x 10".  There are 165 Printed Pages.  Published in 2001.  TONS of historic photos and text.  Lots of info on the New York state cycling scene but also a retrospective of the Burgwardt Bicycle Museum's collection.  MINT - $ SOLD
  • COLLECTING & RESTORING ANTIQUE BICYCLES by G. Donald Adams.  5" x 8".  FIRST EDITION published in April 1981.  Soft Cover.  There are 416 Printed pages.  Don was the curator of the cycling collection for the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan and one of the longest standing members of The Wheelmen.  Soil to cover otherwise likely unread.  $15.00

  • CYCLING MANUAL - Soft Cover - 20th Edition for 1946 season - Temple Press with PATTERSON drawings.  4" x 6-1/4" -  Lots of info.  Good for Derailleurs and British Cycling.  Not commonly found as it is just after WW-II and not many produced.  Very Good overall. -  $ SOLD 
  • DIE GESCHICHTE DES FAHRRADS by Felix R. Paturi.  Published by AT Verlag.  First edition of 1988.  Illustrated Hard Cover.  6-1/2" x 9". There are 75 ppgs.  EXCELLENT early history and images including Photos, Drawings and prints.  MINT condition.  $22.00
  • FAHRRAD PATENTE by Ulrich Herzog.  (interesting & important bicycle & cycling related  patents ~ well illustrated ~ German text ).  8-1/2" x 8-1/4".  Over 188 ppgs.  Black & white illustrations.  If you enjoy line drawings and unusual bicycle patents you will love this book.  Excellent overall condition.  Likely never read.  $20.
  • FREEWHEELING ~ The Story of Bicycling in Canada - Soft Cover - 1986 - 1st Edition - written by William Humber - Lots of Photographs and Canadian Cycling history. 160 pages -  8-1/2" x 11" - NEVER READ - near mint condition with slight signs of handling only - $30.00
  • GLYNN STOCKDALE COLLECTION.  Books 1 & 2.  If you collect Velocipedes, High Wheelers, Antique Bicycles, related Memorabilia and/or Accessories, this is a MUST own.  Both books are 5-3/4" x 8-1/4".  Book 1 is from Sept. 1995 and is 80 ppgs.  Book 2 is Dec. 1997 and is 20 ppgs.  MINT unopened.  $30 the pair. 
  • JOSEPH ROUX ... and the Course de velocipedes; le depart. 1869 by Scotford Lawrence.  HARD COVER.  Limited printing done ca 2007.  Published by the Nationaal Fietsmuseum Velorama (more commonly known as the Gertjan Moed Collection).  A detailed study of what is considered the MOST important cycling masterpiece ... the start of the Velocipede Race in the town of Gray, France in 1869.  Size is 9-1/2" x 7".  There are 63 ppgs.  Signed by Gertjan Moed to Lorne Shields.  MINT.  $ SOLD
  • ILLUSTRIERTE FAHRRAD-GESCHICHTE by Jutta Franke.  Well illustrated in Black~white + Colour.  Museum fur Verkehr und Technik Berlin.  5-1/2" x 11".  156 Ppgs. Printed 1987.  Text in German.  MAINLY bicycling but a few motor bikes as well.  Good reference.  Ex Burgwardt Bicycle Museum Library. Near Mint.  Author's card attached at frontis.   $18.00
  • MIT DEM RAD DURCH ZWEI JAHRHUNDERTE by 3 authors ~ Max Rauck, Gerd Volke & Felix Paturi.  9" X 11-1/4".  Published in 1979.  Illustrated Hard Cover.  223 Printed Pages. In the German language.   EXCELLENT photos and text on everything from the Draisienne to the Safety.  Memorabilia and Posters + Photos.  Quite a nice book.  MINT condition. Ex Burgwardt Bicycle Museum Library.  $40. 
  • PETERBOROUGH VINTAGE CYCLE CLUB ... SOUVENIR BOOKLET for their 50th Anniversary Year ... 2003.   Soft Cover 16 ppgs. 6" x 8-1/4".  History of the club with images of some members & their unusual machines.  Folded.  $4.00
  • SMITHVILLE - The Result of Enterprise by William C. Bolger.  7-1/2" x 10" Published in 1980.  255 Printed Pages. All about the H. B. Smith Manufacturing Company (makers of the Star Bicycle and other products) that you wanted to know and more.  Uncommon.  Near Mint with some curl to the front's soft cover.   Ex Burgwardt Bicycle Museum Library.  $25.00
  • THE BICYCLE by Pryor Dodge. 9" x 11".  Hard Cover with Dust Jacket.  Over 223 pages. This 1st Edition was published in 1996.  One of the MUST OWN books in any cycling library.  FANTASTIC history, images and objects.  Pryor is one of the foremost cycling collectors of our time.  MINT condition.  SOLD - On Hold (dCE)
  • THE INDISPENSIBLE BICYCLIST'S HANDBOOK by Henry Sturmey.  Published by ILIFFE in Coventry.  1881 Edition.  5-1/4" x 8".  Over 300 pages. WoWoW for rarity and importance.  ALL the accessories, lamps, cyclometers, and componentry.  As far as I am aware Copake Auction has never sold a single example of a Sturmey.  Rare and important.   COVERS MISSING.  Loose.  Some soil.  Should be rebound.  SOLD

I suppose that the price is without taxe, shipping !!...

Prices are + Shipping.  Personal items from my collection ... Taxes are not applicable.
