Do you want chrome or painted? I have a pair of red ones with original paint and stripes if that interests you. Where are you?

Hi Brian, I was hoping for chrome. I am in Kingston my email is bigmuskee@gmail.com Thanks Ivan

The chrome westwood rims with the red stripes can be found. I noticed you are working on a Flyte. I too bought a '37 Flyte with no wheels. I found a ladies bike for sale in Thunder Bay that had those rims, and had it shipped via Greyhound bus. Then I spoked in a hub brake with the correct size sprocket as the Ladies sprocket is smaller.
Believe it or not, a lady on my street has a bike with those rims. I could ask if she'll sell it. Or someone else on this site might have a pair.

Hi Brian, Thanks for the info. If you see your neighbor sure ask her. I am lucky in the fact that my hubs seems right and original but the rear wheel has rust thru on several spokes and the front also seems original but is very rusty. It’s like the bike had the wheels in water for a long time. I also need a head badge so I am going with your plan and I’ll just keep looking for a donor bike or three and eventually get the parts. I have seen some pictures you posted of your bike and it looks really nice. I would have posted pictures here but all of mine are just over the 2 mb in size and I am still fooling around with re sizing them. Thanks for your time and advice Ivan

The bike belongs to my neigbour's tenant. She's still there and the bike's still in their garage. The message has been passed to her but she hasn't contacted me yet. My neighbour tells me that she says she never rides the bike but it has sentimental value. I'll follow up later and will let you know if there are any developments. In the meantime, if you do find a set of wheels for your Flyte and no longer need this bike, let me know.

Thanks Brian. Will do Cheers Ivan
