Need very nice burgundy rim please

An oncoming cyclist was confused locked up his brakes and ended up landing on my front wheel resulting in 4 nipples being pulled through the rim.I was stopped at the time, no injuries.
These were NOS rims about 4 years ago that I was very lucky to purchase.
Now I am hoping someone in the community will have and sell me a very nice 28 inc rim, spoked or not.
I am in Calgary.

Get 4 small washers and reuse the same rim.

 

There are actual bicycle rim washers you can get or just use

any regular washers.

 

Way better to reuse the same one vs trying to find another

that isn't a NOS.

 

You can also tap the rim with a hammer to get the holes a little closer to how they

were before the spokes puller through.

 

It will be a quick fix and your best option !  Cost less than a dollar too.

Thanks Doumatic, I have the original 47 rim that has a lot of paint chips to put back on the bike and continue to ride.
When I am less frustrated I will try a repair, I saw the situation develop with pedestrians on the pathway yet the oncoming "cyclist" didn't reduce his speed until he panicked, locked up his wheels and headed straight for me, crunch!!!
Hopefully there is a nice rim out there that finds me.

I agree with the advice to resuse the same rim. You could place some rubber over the painted side of the rim and gently tap down the raised metal with a hammer. Then install new spokes using washers as previously mentioned. There are special curved washers for this purpose. If you need a few I'll mail them to you for free.

nos burgandy rim                                            i have one nos with some light scratches  asit was hung up for 50 years i know it is nos because some of the spoke holes still have paint in them     i can not do pictures  or e mail  may be someone on this site could sugest a fair asking price    thanks william rudolph land line only 902 477 9734 nova scotia
