Norman Bicycles of England

Hi Folks, though not a Canadian bicycle, it did find it's way here. My guess is Ladies Norman from Ashford England 1951. Though it is suggested it was a common bike brought to North America after the war I wonder why there seem to be so few o the Internet. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
