Got a note from a gentleman looking for some 28' tires. He said He siad Hthe original Dunlop tires indicated a 1 1/4" on the front rim and 1 3/8" on the rear. Does that seem right? Anyone got anything or know where they could be had.
Had another note from a young lady who is restoring her grandfather's CCM looking for 26 1/2" tires. I have never restored a bike so haven't a clue whether these various sizes are readily available, special orders or non-existent. Anyone?
I know there are folks who restore bikes on here. What do you do about new tires? I'd like to get back to the folks above. Maybe the answer is so obvious everyone is waiting for me to come to my senses. Can you just walk into a bicycle shop and buy these sizes?
