a mathematic question ?

Why now we need to response a mathematic question when we log on this site ?

Denis: Recently, we've had a lot of automated spam trying to log in. The math question is an attempt to block it. So far, it's proven very effective.

would it be possible to make the CAPTCHA a little more fuzzy so that no one could get it.....shhhh

You could just not log out and stay permanently logged in. That would avoid the CAPTCHA issue.
