Still on my want list Brantford mens  (  Goold) bicycle per CCM . Any help would be most appreciated.

Still hopeful something will turn up. Like i said would be most greatful for any help.

One just showed up. I just returned from a Trip to New Zealand with the bike I have been looking for.1896 or7 Goold Made Brantford Red  bird Mens bike .I picked up the frame ,forks and bars . Bars are in rough shape but the rest is real nice. I had the original complete  wood wheel set so this is going to turn out great with time. I still need the crank parts  but am sure they will turn up from the guy i got it from . I met   the person I got the bike from 11 years ago when there on another biking trip. In the mean time if anyone  has any crank parts for same bike I would appreciate any help .This bike is per CCM. Great match for my Ladies Goold bike 1896 . Goold bikes where imported to Austrialia and New Zealand in big numbers back around the 1890,s and the turn of last century. Seems funny that they don;t turn up here .

Great news Dave..hope he comes up with the crank set. Patience, as you know is a requirement in this hobby.  Last month, after 3 + years of looking I finally got to complete the cranksets for my 1898 Orient and my 1904-1908 Canadian Racycle, getting the parts from Ireland and USA.  I'll keep a look out.  Cheers, Wayne

BTW, pls post pics of crankset;  I presume its the same as on your ladies

Nicely done Dave. My mother always said: "Good things come to those who wait." I never believed her ha-ha, but hey who knows. Good luck with the restoration.
