What model?

Hi,

Based on serial number(X26991), this bike is 1935 but i cannot determine what model. I look at the catalog for that year on this site and there are a couple of bikes that look like it. Can anyone tell?

Also, i was told the saddle is not original. Any body selling the original one?

Are the fenfers/chain guard original to the bike? In the catalog, most models didnt have any

Many of the parts on this bike are not original. These include the chainguard, the fenders, the wheels, and probably the pedals. The frame may have been repainted. A 1935 model would probably have a number 7 seat post. We can assume it was originally a lower-priced model since it has a one piece crank. We can also assume that it was sold branded as a CCM because of the front sprocket that has the letters "CCM" in the web. What type of rear hub does it have (what year and model?).

I cleaned up the wheels and see “V160 made in canada" that according to other posts in this forum are 1960's or older. I do not see any letters/markings on the rear hub so one can assume it was replaced with the wheels.
what would  you do with this bike? Make it ridable with what is on the bike? Try to find original parts?

If the wheels are reasonably straight I would probably clean, polish and repack everything. My experience is that CCM older spokes are generally solidly rusted in place. So if the wheels are wobbly that's a different project.
