1937 CCM Flyte for sale

Hey folks; I'm selling the Flyte I was working on - turns out the frame was too large for me.  Initially I was restoring it as a rider, the frame was chemically stripped to the original primer, not sand blasted.  Paint and primer is rattle can - multiple wet sanded coats, but rattle can none the less.  All bearings were replaced or re packed, all spokes on the front wheel were replaced, new rubber back and front.  There is pitting on the chrome parts - I polished what I could.  Crank is Triplex, the pedals are not Gibsons.  I have the original wheels in unrestored conditions as well as the fenders (see pics). The saddle is the Drilastic option.  I thought I would offer it here first before I put it on EBay, etc.  Open to offers, email me at copperguy8@gmail.com.  Thanks

Having issues attaching pictures. I can email if interested.  Thanks

I received your email. Thanks for the pics. I'm 6 feet tall. I'll fit me. wink

Does the serial number confirm that it's a 1937?

That should have read, "It'll fit me".  smiley

Hope this works!

Why don't you set a price? You must know what you want for it since that you want to Ebay it...

I'm sure the buyer is going to be somebody that frequents this site and we are all men of honor.

Make this the forum for selling the bike.

I'll start  the bidding at $400.

The reason no price is set is because I simply do not know...  It's not like there is blue book pricing.  Even on this website they come up so seldomly it's hard to get a benchmark price.  I thought I would offer it here first to genuine enthusiasts rather than get as much as possible, that being said I ain't giving it away.  I know I'm being a little xenophobic but I would also prefer to keep it in Canada.  I'm funny that way.  My email is posted above and I will entertain reasonable offers.  Thanks again.

i offered 500 to get things started but offer was deemed too low and didn't receive to counter

makes ot difficult to just throw numbers out there

will have to see when it gets to Ebay

I'm told the highest offer is now $700.

$Seven.00 very reasonable.A bare flyte frame and front forks alone are worth  $750.00 and that was 3 or 4 years ago,so now depending on the year or if a compleat crank or headset is included could be $1000.00 easy.Thats my opinion.
Thanks

? Just an opinion?
