Can you ID this trademark?

A pair of these rims came off my 1916 Model F(or M). Has anyone seen ths trademark before? Is it possible they are original? Thanks in advance

Maybe NDLS is short for Nederlands, which is Netherlands in the Dutch language. In any case they look chrome so would have never been on a teens bike originally. Probaby borrowed from a postwar Dutch bike(??)

Thanks Brian, that makes sense. I guess they wouldnt be original considering they do appear to be chrome.

Are the rims Canadian or Bitish size? 662 or 635

They are Canadian sized rims. Front is 32 hole with a nickel plated hub and the rear is 36 hole with a patent pending hub. Nickel plated spokes with one inch nipples all around.

Good chance some one changed the rims from wood to steel in the last 100 years .  Seeing that it has 1 inch nipples and 32 spoke front hub I wood say from new it had wood rims.

Are you able to post a photo of the bike and one of the badge? They would be nice to see.

Its this one at the start of the thread

There was also a Japanese NDLS compny that manufactured bicycles, parts and accessories.

Thanks T-Mar. Thats likely where they came from then.
