CCM Mustang Firebird

Hi All,

recently rescued a CCM Mustang Firebird. It's a survivour that I am trying to get up and running. Really need a front rim, 20 x 1 3/8" for starters, then we will go from there. Any leads on parts or general info about the bike would greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think might be the rim I am looking for. How do I get in touch with you?

I have a CCM Firebird Mustang, late 1960's or early 1970's that I recovered from my mother-in-laws garage. Everyone else in the family says it should just be discarded. I'm thinikng it has value. Looking for advice on how to get this to someone who wants it. Located in USA, Minnesota, near Minneapolis.

The Firebird was manufactured for the 1968-1970 model years. It was the only Weston era hi-riser model to be factory equipped with a derailleur. Depending on the year, it was either 2nd or tied for 3rd in the hi-riser product line. Pricing in 1969 & 1970 was $78.95 CDN. I'm not sure if the saddle on the subject bicycle is OEM, as I don't have 1968 literature, but the 1969 and 1970 versions are shown with a wide red stripe on the saddle.

The 1968 poster describes the seat as a pleated glitter one, matching the red grips.
