CCM salesmans sample frame.

This is frame that was cut away by CCM so the salesmen could show the bike shops how good the welds were.

I don't know the year so I'll tell you all I can so the experts can figure it out.

The CCM badge on the head tube is riveted on. The model of this 18" frame is Collegiate and there is a sticker at the bottom of the seat tube that says, "Cyco Sonic Drive" It has a double crown fork and horizontal dropouts. The frame and fork are painted red and the headtube is painted gold. This is quite obviously an unused frame and the cut aways are very uniform and professional. This leads me to believe that this isn't just any frame someone cut up.

The previous owner told me he knew someone who worked at the bike shop where this frame came from and there was a former CCM salesman that had worked there in the past.

The frame has "patina" but no abuse. I think it looks absolutly perfect but if you wanted to polish the paint and chrome, you could probably make it shine like new. (save a few scratches that may not polish out) Also, you may remove the pinstriping and decals if you're not careful.

This is truly something special that you will likely never see again. I doubt they made many of these and I can't imagine more than 1 or 2 surviving.

Asking $800.

I live in Victoria and would be happy to arrange shipping.
