new guy ,.. need help with ccm mustang

 whats the latest peeps!!

just picked up a sears ccm mustang banana seat, (will post picks soon) it's in great condition , just has the wrong tires on it (bmx one's) so thats the first thing i have to do,..i hade a green one when i was a kid , i'm 38, born and raised in vancouver, also collect tattoos !.. and have 2 little boys , my 6 1/2 year old likes the old banana seat bikes so i thought we could get one and work on it together!!... and am into vw beetles, i have a retro mod '75 !!.. this site looks great !!

is there a way i can tell what year it is?

serial number is 3391346

i think i screwed up,.. on closer inspection i think it's a simpsons and sears ,.. any helpwould be greatly appreciated  !!

I know this is old , but  . . .

 

The serial number looks like the manufacturer Kynast of West Germany.  The year is about 1980 or maybe late 1970s.
