Hi Wayne. I think your best option is to search for a Ladies bike from the period with those rims. I've found two such bikes and both sets found there way onto Flytes. One set was covered in silver spray paint which was successfully removed. Good luck.
If I come across another one for sale here in Hogtown I'll grab it for you. With the last one, I spotted the rims on a bike in an ad and had it shipped from Thunder Bay. Canada Post said it was too heavy so it came via Greyhound. Cost $80 to ship.

Hey there Brian... I actually FOUND lady's bike once leaning against a tree with a set of those in great shape!
Good tip about looking at all bikes as rims may have been painted!
Thought I'd give a try here as there are not as many out here in the west as there are back east.
