Hey cruisersbylou: old posting I know but two things.....I think I have a set of bars like you were looking for.....but more importantly, have you got any more pictures of the road racer? that is the same colour as mine and its not a normal colour.....

This color I think was a custom color right from the factory as I know mine is original paint. Are you looking for a particular area picture? Let me know and I can snap a couple.
I have a 1938 in the same colour - T-mar confirmed it was likely a factory custom colour. But mine has "track end" dropouts at the rear with axle retainers. Do you know what year yours is?
I will PM with information about the bars I have - ironically I put them on my road racer as they looked "more original" than the newer bars it had (upside down of course) but I don't find them comfortable.
