Hello all! I am looking for advice on what headbadge would have came on a 1953 mens double bar balloon tire bike. If anyone can enlighten me on that would be great!, also if anyone has one for sale..... that wouldn't hurt either. Thanks
Hi All,
Just wondering how often you all see Sunshine bicycles come up back east? Out west here we don't often see them...
Cheers.... Wayne

In about 1970 I purchased a new, chrome-plated, CCM Gran Tourismo bicycle at a store in Mississauga. It has white, fibreglass fenders, a water bottle, and peddal harnesses. I added a kick stand. I was wondering if any of you CCM history buffs can tell me anything about this dazzling, old bike. I rode it a bit and it still looks pretty new. It has always been stored indoors. I have had a couple of bikes since but I still like to go into my basement to look at this one. I've never seen another one like it.
I have tried to find out which company made the Viking bicycle brand and where it was made without any luck. I understand there is a British brand with that name but I don't believe this is a British bike. It spent its life in Michigan where I picked it up, the hub brake was made by the Eclipse Machine Co. in Elmira, N.Y., and the wood rims are also American made. Attached is a photo of the head badge before I shined it up.
