Hi Folks, though not a Canadian bicycle, it did find it's way here. My guess is Ladies Norman from Ashford England 1951. Though it is suggested it was a common bike brought to North America after the war I wonder why there seem to be so few o the Internet. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi I am fairly new to bicycle collecting so my knowledge isn't quite at par with many on this great forum. I am hoping someone can help me with information on this bicycle I recently rescued from a barn with a 1968 boys CCM bke. The name badge on the front appears to read Thistle? I know of children's toys made by the Thistle company would this be the same company?
Greetings all, my recently acquired early 30s. Hyslop has a rear drum brake that is 'rod actuated'. I've been having no luck finding an image of the original type of chain segment used on this rod-link set up . The flat chandelier type chain on there is looking pretty tired . I'm not sure that it's original...
This Glider will be sold at the Carl Jolley Riding Toy Museum Estate Auction on Saturday February 18th, 2017 at the Rockford Auction Centre in Owen Sound. A complete online catalogue with numerous photos is available through the web site: www.rockfordauctioncentre.com
Until this image surfaced from the 1922 Hyslop Catalogue (available online), myself and a few other enthusiasts believed that no tank bikes had ever been made in Canada. CCM never offerered one. Does anyone have one of these Hyslop Motobikes, or has anyone ever seen one in a museum or private collection? Does anyone have this bike without the tank? The gas tank was an extra cost option, so I imagine few, if any, were sold given that we Canucks are a practical bunch. Any information at all would be nice to see.
I saw these bikes for sale, and knowing that Majestic was a Montreal company I bought them over the phone in the hope they were made-in-Canada. From what I can see I suspect they were made in Czechoslovakia. The tires say Barum, Made in Czechoslovakia, 24 x 1.75. The rear hub on the red one is stamped Favorit, a Czech company. The seat pan on the red one is metal and stamped Made in Japan. The seat on the blue one is the matress spring type.
PLEASE BE SO KIND AS TO R.S.V.P. PROMPTLY. Thanks ... Lorne

Hey Guy's and Gal's,
I just finished painting the frame of my Vintage CCM Stationary Bike and need your help.
I require instructions on how to reconnect the speedometer cable to the wheel or whatever it is called.
One of the four rubber original "Flat Bottom Feet" is missing as well. Please advise where I can purchase a replacement.
Thanks in advance.
Take care.
Earle

Hello
I wanted to let you know about an auction coming up on the 29th of October, 2016 that you and your readers may be interested in.
One of the highlights of the auction is a circa 1895 Fane & Lavender (Comet Cycling Co. Ltd, Ontario Canada) wood frame/nickel plated men’s safety bicycle in exceptional original condition. The rims on this bike have an early CCM logo!
